Act for Justice is one of four UUCD Mission Statements!
It all started almost two years ago when…
UUCD’s Peace & Justice Committee and Climate Action Team started talking about collaborating in an effort to talk with and to listen to members and friends about their interests related to social and environmental justice. About the same time, UUCD’s Board of Trustees decided to focus on justice as a core focus and theme of UUCD. Jo Haberman, experienced in community organizing, agreed to build and lead a team to help the congregation determine its justice focus.
You are invited to come on a journey of discovery over the next six months by returning to this web page often as pages and information are developed to educate you on the congregation’s justice views.
