The College Street Project Task Force (CSPTF), at the direction of our Board of Trustees, has been busy since August, 2005 preparing information you need before you vote on whether or not to build a new church home on our College Street property. Our meetings are open and we encourage you to attend. We have met weekly and have renewed the incredible work of our prior building committee’s work on the Architectural Program Statement. We have formed and worked in the following subcommittees: Building, Finance, Vision, and Communications. We have coordinated several important matters with the Zeppa Family Foundation. We have toured other churches, created timelines, analyzed information, interviewed architects and made decisions We unanimously voted Steve Erban as our architect, and at our recommendation the Board entered into an architectural contract with him as our final act in 2005. Steve Erban has experience building over 300 churches and numerous other commercial and public spaces, and he expresses a desire to work within our vision and our budget. We now feel it is time, as the process builds momentum, to provide you with our progress reports not only in the monthly newsletter, in mid-month mailings to everyone, and on this Web site. We are in an exciting process. To learn more, please review our subcommittee’s monthly reports (see link below).
