The UUC-Duluth Library collection is now accessible online. Directions for access to the UUC-Duluth Library Online Catalog:
1.
Go to the website:
www.librarything.com/profile/UUC-Duluth
The page that comes up will be the page describing the UUC-Duluth
Library catalog and purpose, etc. (Individuals do not need to be a
member of Librarything.com to search the UUC-
Duluth catalog. It is a public catalog.)
Under the heading Member:UUC-Duluth you will find the phrase
“Collections: Your Library”
2.
Click on “Your Library” (This will take you to the UUC-Duluth catalog.)
At the top of the catalog screen you will see a tan line of text that
reads “UUC-Duluth has a suggested style for viewing this library (use it).
3.
Click on “use it”
You will get a search screen organized alphabetically by author. Also
listed will be the title, UUC-Duluth “tag” or interest area, and the
Dewey Decimal number for each item.
4.
If you prefer to view the catalog organized in a different manner,
there is a symbol at the top of the page made up of two arrows–up and
down. Click on this symbol and the screen will prompt you with many
other ways to temporarily organize the catalog for your individual
search needs. Some of the choices are by title, Dewey Decimal number
and by “tag”. Tag is the term for the interest areas designated in
the books of the UUC-D collection such as Social Justice, Death and
Dying, Spirituality, etc.
