Summer Services 9:30am

Sunday Services and Religious Education for September 2010
835 W. College Street
Nursery care is provided during the service for children up to 6 years old.
If we ever need to cancel services, the cancellation will be posted on our website
and on the outgoing phone message from the office.

 

September 5th – One Service 9:30 followed by Brunch 
Pride Service
Join us for this interfaith service and get energized for marriage equality.  The Pride Chorus will inspire us with song, we will brunch together after the service, and then carpool to Superior for the Pride Parade!

September 12th – One Service 9:30 “To Dwell Together in Peace” 
is the theme for our Ingathering and Water Ceremony.
Please bring water from some place you love, along with seven words or a haiku you have written to tell us about your water and its significance.    After the service we are invited to participate in a walk-run-ride to 1802 East First Street to celebrate with the Friends’ Community, who are honoring  the beginning of the 100th year of faith in their church home (UUCD’s former building).  We will leave UUCD at 11 am and walk, run, ride down the hill to join them for a church social.

September 19th – ***Resume two services*** 9:15 and 11:15
“To Seek Knowledge in Freedom: Learning as a Spiritual Practice”

We will dedicate teachers and launch the church year.  
RE Starts at 9:15am.
Brunch between services in the Social Hall.
Youth Group begins at 11:30am in the Youth Room.

September 26 – 9:15 and 11:15 “To Serve Humanity in Fellowship”
