Teaching UU Religious Education to the Youth in our Village
Under the three-teacher-team model your Sunday morning commitment is less than half of the program Sundays for the season!
Three Teacher Team Model: each teacher responsible for:
- planning approximately 7 classes with user friendly curricula
- serving as classroom helping teacher approximately 7 Sundays
- assisting for a Large Group or RE and the Arts segment
- attendance at one training and scheduling session
- preparing for classroom Sundays only
Our program year
The program year runs approximately 40 weeks from mid September to early June which out as follows:
- 20-22 classroom Sundays
- 8-9 RE and the Arts Sundays
- 3-4 Large Group Sundays
- 5-6 I.G. Sundays (everyone in worship)
The success of our program depends on many hours given by a few and a few hours
given by many.
It really does take a village!
