Guidelines for using the UUCD Peanut Butter Wiki

The UUCD Meeting/Event/Service Cancellation Wiki

The purpose of this wiki is for committee chairs of UUCD groups to post notices about cancellations or changes in meeting times. To edit the wiki, follow the directions below:

To access the wiki (either to read it or to edit it), go to the wiki at: http://uucd.pbwiki.com/

Logging in to the wiki:

1. Click on the blue "Edit page" button. A screen will open asking you to login in.
2. Complete the log in information on the login screen (see image below):
   1. Enter the password (you can obtain this from Kathy Stinnett).
   2. Type your name (first name is fine)
   3. Type your email address
   4. If you would like to be notified anytime anyone makes any changes to the wiki, check the box next to "notify me of changes." This way, any time anyone makes a change to any meetings, events, or services on this wiki page, you will receive an email alerting you to the fact that there has been a change.
   5. Click on the login in button
      

Editing the wiki:

1. Go to the wiki at: http://uucd.pbwiki.com/
2. Click on the blue "edit" button:
   
   
3. Type your text on the wiki.
4. Once you have made your changes, and then click on the "Save" button at the bottom of the wiki page.
5. You are done! Your changes will be saved to the wiki for others to view.
   
   

Reverting to earlier version of wiki or comparing current version with earlier versions:

Note: If, for some reason, you or others make changes to the wiki and decide that you preferred an earlier version of the wiki, you can always go back to the earlier version or compare the current version with earlier versions. To do this:

1. At the bottom of the wiki, in the section titled "Page information" it will list the name of the person who last edited the page, and next to that, the word "history" in parentheses (it is a link to the history page). Click on this "history" link.
2. This will take you to a page that lists the history of the page, showing all past versions of the page. Navigate to the version that you want to see by clicking on it.
   
   
3. If you decide you want to revert to the earlier version, click on the "revert "FrontPage" to this revision" button:
   
   
4. If you do not want to revert to an earlier version, just click on the blue "home" button or else on your browser's back button.
